Cheatgrass Management Seminar-2017

The Lewis and Clark Conservation District and the Lewis and Clark County Weed District are co-hosting a seminar on the management of “cheatgrass” on forage and range/pasture land.  Lunch will be provided.  Six  RE-CERTIFICATION CREDITS WILL BE OFFERED FOR PRIVATE, COMMERCIAL AND GOVERNMENT APPLICATORS. Flood Awareness at EVMS!

Since the spring of 2008, the Lewis & Clark Conservation District has worked with area agencies to bring Flood Awareness to the East Valley Middle School.  What began with a parent visit during an open house in the fall of 2007, turned into a 9 year commitment to education. Private Applicator Workshop

Weed Cost Share Program-2016

The Lewis & Clark Conservation District Board is once again offering a noxious weed cost share program for 2016.  Now in its 6th year, this program is for privately owned land in Lewis & Clark County and provides 50% or up to $1500 cost share for chemical, for commercial applicator, for biological controls (insects) or re-seeding.  Group applications may qualify for up to $5000 or 50% for projects such as Homeowner Association sprayed roads or Irrigation District sprayed ditches/canals.
